Re-pumping of liquid commodities

The re-pumping complex in Čierna nad Tisou is one of the key technological facilities of the East Slovak Transshipment Yards. We ensure the safe and efficient re-pumping of liquid substances between broad-gauge and standard-gauge tank wagons.

We primarily re-pump:

• fuels,
• technical oils,
• alcohol derivatives,
• organic solvents,
• BTX (benzene, toluene, xylenes),
• other chemical and petroleum products,
• edible oils.

Approximately 40 different liquid products that are transported and sold in common industrial practice. The complex features eight independent technological lines designed for various types of commodities, including a specialised INOX line for food products.

Technical capabilities:

• capacity of up to 450–500 m³/h depending on the type of commodity,
• two-way re-pumping between 1520 mm and 1435 mm gauges,
• tank overfill protection systems,
• eight independent technological lines,
• dedicated INOX line for transloading food commodities,
• high safety standard,
• comprehensive protection of groundwater and air.
